Who teaches you

Ashley Curry, native speaker with a neutral American accent.

TEFL certified, with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. I've taught more than 1,500 private online lessons to adults from B1 to C2: professionals preparing for meetings and interviews, people moving to the US, IELTS and PTE candidates. Before teaching I was a hospitality recruiter, so I know what interviewers hear. I've lived in five countries and learned a second language myself; I remember exactly what it feels like to search for a word mid-sentence.

“Ashley tailors the lessons 100% to my needs. She speaks very clear English, which helps me to improve my pronunciation.”Julia
“She has an enormous ability to understand your needs and work on your weaknesses to improve them.”Sara
Questions

Before you decide

Which option should I choose?

If you are new, book the first lesson for $25: a full assessment plus a plan, no commitment. If you know you want to work on your accent, 10 lessons or 2 lessons a week is where most students see a clear change. Deadlines (interview, exam, move) call for 3 to 5 lessons a week.

Do my lesson credits expire?

No. Credits stay in your account as long as you are an active student. If you take a break of more than 12 months, message Ashley before booking again.

What is the difference between a package and a monthly plan?

A package is a one-time purchase of a set number of lessons that you book whenever you like. A monthly plan gives you a fixed number of lessons every week (4, 8, 12 or 20 a month) at the lowest per-lesson price, renews monthly, and can be paused or cancelled any time.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Move or cancel any lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts and the credit returns to your account immediately. Inside 24 hours the credit is used, the same policy you know from Preply.

How do I pay?

Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, or Zelle for US students. Credits appear the moment the payment is confirmed; Zelle payments are confirmed by Ashley personally, usually within a few hours.

What if I am not a good fit?

The first lesson is a real 50-minute lesson at $25 so you can judge for yourself. Unused credits from a package can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, minus the lessons already taken at the single-lesson price.
